ਸਰਸਾ (ਹਰਿਆਣਾ) ਵਿਖੇ ਇਕ ਸੱਚਾ
ਸੌਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਡੇਰਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਥੇ ਸੈਕੜੇਂ ਸਾਧੂ ਤੇ ਸਾਧਣੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਅਨਪੜ੍ਹਤਾ ਤੇ ਅੰਧਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਇਸ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਲੱਖਾਂ 'ਚ ਪਹੁੰਚ
ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਸੰਨ 2002 ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਜਵਾਨ ਲੜਕੀ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਪਤ ਚਿੱਠੀ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ
ਸ਼ਕਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਡੇਰੇ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖੀ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਕਰ
ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਟੀ ਵੀ ਤੇ ਅਖਬਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾ ਬਣਨ ਲੱਗੀ ਤਾਂ ਸਿਰਸੇ ਦੇ ਇਕ
ਪਤ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਗੋਲੀ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਹੱਤਿਆ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਫਿਰ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਇਕ ਉਚ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ
ਵੀ ਸਦਾ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਦੇ ਸੁਆ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਕੁਰੂਕਸ਼ੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਮੁੰਡੇ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਜਾਨ ਲੈ ਲਈ ਗਈ।
ਹੁਣ ਸੀ ਬੀ ਆਈ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਫਤੀਸ਼ ਜੋਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਉਪ ਮੁਖੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ
ਲਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਓਧਰ ਭੋਲੇ ਭਾਲੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਮੁਜਾਹਰੇ ਕਰਨੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ
ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਕਸਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕਿਤੇ ਸੀ
ਬੀ ਆਈ ਬਾਬੇ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਲਏ। ਬਠਿੰਡੇ ਵਿਚ ਪਿਛੇ ਜੋ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁਜਾਹਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ
ਉਸ ਵਿਚ ਤਾਂ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਹੀ ਕਹਿ ਦਿਤਾ ਕਿ ਦੇਖੋ ਜੀ ਸਾਡਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੀ ਏਕਤਾ ਲਈ (ਂੳਟੋਿਨੳਲ ੀਨਟੲਗਰੳਟੋਿਨ)
'ਚ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਕਿ ਅਸੀ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ
ਨੂੰ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਬਣਾ ਰਹੇ ਦੇ ਬਾਵਜੂਦ ਸੀ. ਬੀ.ਆਈ
ਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਗ
ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਏ। ਖੈਰ ਇਥੇ ਫਰੰਟਲਾਈਨ ਰਸਾਲੇ 'ਚ ਛੱਪੀ ਵਿਸਤਰਿਤ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦਾ ਤਰਜਮਾ ਤੇ ਅਜੀਤ
ਵਿਚ ਛਪੀਆਂ ਇਕ ਦੋ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾ ਛਾਪ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ:- :

ਸਿਰਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਨਿਕਲਦੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਰਸਾਲੇ 'ਪੂਰਾ ਸੱਚ' ਦੇ 53 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਮਾਲਕ ਰਾਮ ਚੰਦਰ
ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਦੀ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਅਪੋਲੋ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿਚ 21 ਨਵੰਬਰ 2003 ਨੂੰ ਹੋਈ ਮੌਤ ਆਮ ਕਰਕੇ
ਅਖਬਾਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਣਗੋਲ ਹੀ ਦਿਤੀ। 24 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਮੋਟਰਸਾਈਕਲ ਸਵਾਰ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ
ਬਾਰੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸੱਚਾ ਸੌਦਾ ਡੇਰਾ ਸਿਰਸੇ ਤੋਂ ਸਨ ਨੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਚਾਰ
ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਆਰ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ। ਸਿਰਸੇ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਡੇਰਾ ਦਾਅਵਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਕਰੋੜ
ਤੋਂ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਭਗਤ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਖਾਵਾਂ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਡੇਰੇ ਦਾ ਮਾਲਕ
ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਰਾਮ ਰਹੀਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਹੈ ਜਿਨੂੰ ਲੋਕ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਕਰਕੇ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਮਈ 2003 'ਚ ਜਦ ਡੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਇਕ ਅਬਲਾ ਨੇ ਗੁਮਨਾਮ ਚਿੱਠੀ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ
ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਕਾਮ ਸ਼ੋਸ਼ਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਡੇਰਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਿਗਾਹਾਂ 'ਚ ਆਉਣ ਲੱਗਾ।
ਇਹ ਮਸਲਾ ਕਈ ਅਖਬਾਰਾਂ 'ਚ ਆਇਆ ਤੇ ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਓਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਰਤੂਤਾਂ
ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਖਬਾਰ 'ਚ ਲਿਖੀ ਗਿਆ। ਓਹ ਚਿੱਠੀ ਡੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੀ ਇਕ ਲੜਕੀ ਜਾਂ ਸਾਧਣੀ
ਨੇ ਸਿੱਧੀ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਖਾਤਿਬ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਲਿਖੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਕਲਾਂ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ
ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਸੀ ਬੀ ਆਈ, ਹਰਿਆਣੇ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਸਿਰਸੇ ਦੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਪਤਾਨ, ਤੇ ਕੌਮੀ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ
ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ, ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ, ਅਖਬਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਚਿੱਠੀ
'ਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਡੇਰੇ ਵਿਚ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਸ਼ੋਸਣ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
ਸਾਧਨੀ ਨੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ 14 ਪੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਪੰਜਾ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਡੇਰੇ 'ਚ ਰਹਿ
ਰਹੀ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ 700 ਏਕੜ ਵਿਚ ਫੈਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਂਪੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਉਨਾਂ
ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਖਾਤਰ ਡੇਰੇ ਚੜਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
(ਉਹ ਲਿਖਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ : -ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਾਲਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ 'ਚ
ਤੇਰੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਹੈ। ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਹੁਕਮ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਕਮਰੇ 'ਚ ਵੜੀ ਤਾਂ
ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਟੀ ਵੀ ਤੇ ਬਲਿਊ ਫਿਲਮ ਵੇਖ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ। ਬਿਸਤਰ ਤੇ ਇਕ ਪਿਸਤੋਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਜਦੋਂ
ਮੈਂ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਰੱਬ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੂਜਿਆ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ
ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਤਾਂ ਗੋਪੀਆਂ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ) . . . . . . . . . . . ਉਸ ਨੇ
ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਧਮਕੀ ਦਿਤੀ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਕਿਤੇ ਗਲ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿਕਲੀ ਤਾਂ
ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਦੀ ਨੀਂਦੇ ਸਵਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਫਿਰ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਫੜਾਂ ਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਕਿ ਹਰਿਆਣੇ
ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਲੀਡਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਕਹੇ 'ਚ ਹਨ।
ਇਹ ਤਾਂ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪਤਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਸੂਬਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਲੀਡਰ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦਾ
ਅਸ਼ੀਰਵਾਦ ਲੈਣ ਖਾਤਰ ਅਕਸਰ ਡੇਰੇ ਆਏ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਨਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ
ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣੇ ਦੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਓਮ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਚੌਟਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਹਨ।

ਲਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਡੇਰੇ 'ਚ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੋਸਣ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਉਨਾਂ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕਈ ਤਾਂ
ਖੂਬ ਪੜੀਆਂ ਲਿਖਿਆਂ ਵੀ ਹਨ। ਕੋਈ ਐਮ ਫਿਲ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਐਮ ਏ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਨਾਂ ਵਿਚਾਰੀਆਂ
ਦੇ ਮਾਂਪੇ ਅੰਧਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ਼ੀ ਹਨ ਇਹ ਨਰਕ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਿਤਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਹਨ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਕਿੰਨੀਆਂ
ਹੀ ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਮਾਨਸਾ, ਫਿਰੋਜਪੁਰ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਤੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣੇ ਦੇ ਜਿਲਿਆਂ 'ਚ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰੀ ਜਾ
ਚੁਕੀਆਂ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਡਰਦੀਆਂ ਜੁਬਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਖੋਲਦੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਤਿੰਨ ਸਫਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਚਿੱਠੀ 'ਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ
ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਕ ਬਠਿੰਡੇ ਜਿਲੇ ਦੀ ਕੁੜੀ ਨੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਰਾ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੂੰਹ ਖੋਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ
ਨੂੰ ਖੂਬ ਕੁਟਾਪਾ ਚੜਿਆ ਸੀ। ਕੋਈ 45 ਕੁੜੀਆਂ ਡਰ ਤੇ ਸਹਿਮ ਦਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਿਤਾ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਪਰ
ਜੇਕਰ ਉਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰੋਸੇ 'ਚ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਗਲੱਸ਼ ਦੇਣਗੀਆਂ।
3 ਸਤੰਬਰ 2003 ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਤੇ ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਹਾਈ ਕੋਰਟ ਨੇ ਸ਼ੈਸਨ ਜੱਜ ਸਿਰਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਕੀਤਾ
ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਗੱਲ ਦੀ ਤਫਤੀਸ਼ ਕਰਨ। ਜੱਜ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਦਾ ਦੌਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਲਿਖ ਦਿਤਾ
ਕਿ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਇਨਕੁਇਅਰੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਅਜੈਂਸੀ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਏ। ਹਾਈਕੋਰਟ ਨੇ ਮਸਲੇ ਦੀ
ਗੰਭੀਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਕੇਸ ਸੀ ਬੀ ਆਈ ਨੂੰ ਸੋਂਪ ਦਿਤਾ ਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਹੁਕਮ ਕਰ ਦਿਤਾ
ਕਿ 6 ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਚ ਤਫਤੀਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦਾਖਲ ਕਰੇ। ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਸੀ ਬੀ ਆਈ
ਉਨਾਂ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਬਿਆਨ ਤੇ ਗੌਰ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਜਿਨਾਂ ਪਤ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਛਤਰਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ
ਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਬਿਆਨ ਦਿਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਡੇਰੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਕਾਰਜ ਕਰਤਾ ਕਿਸ਼ਨ
ਲਾਲ ਦੇ ਕਹਿਣ ਤੇ ਇਹ ਕੁਝ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਈਏ।
ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ 28 ਦਿਨ ਲੰਮੇ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਮੌਤ ਅੱਗੇ ਹਾਰ ਗਿਆ। ਉਹ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰੋਹਤਕ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ
ਕਾਲਜ ਤੇ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿਚ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਅਪੋਲੋ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਦਰ ਅਸਲ ਸਥਾਨਕ
ਪਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਮਕੀਆਂ ਮਿਲਿਆਂ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਬਹੁਤਿਆਂ ਗੱਲ ਗੌਲੀ ਹੀ ਨਾਂ। ਪਰ ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਨੇ
ਸਿਰਸੇ ਦੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਲਈ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਵੀ ਸੀ।
ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੁਰਖੇਤਰ ਜਿਲੇ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਖਾਨਪੁਰ ਕੋਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਨੇ ਪਤ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ
ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲੜਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਕਰਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਓਸੇ ਗੁਮਨਾਮ ਚਿੱਠੀ ਲਿਖਣ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੱਕ 'ਚ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ

ਕੀਤੀ ਫਿਰ ਮਜਬੂਰਨ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹਰਿਆਣੇ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਖਾਸਤ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਇਸ
ਦੀ ਤਫਤੀਸ਼ ਸੀ ਬੀ ਆਈ ਤੋਂ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਏ। ਇਸ ਦਰਖਾਸਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਨਕਲਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ,
ਉਪ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਹਾਈਕੋਰਟ, ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਹਰਿਆਣੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਭੇਜੀਆਂ। ਸੀ ਬੀ
ਆਈ ਇਹ ਕੇਸ ਘੋਖੇਗੀ।
ਇਸ ਮੁੰਡੇ ਦਾ ਕਤਲ ਤੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਰ ਕਰਤੂਤਾਂ ਇਸ ਜਿਲੇ ਤੇ ਗਵਾਂਢੀ ਜਿਲਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਚਰਚਾ
'ਚ ਹਨ। ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਖੁੱਦ ਇਕ ਕਵੀ ਵੀ ਸੀ ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹਦੀ ਸੁਰ ਬਾਕੀ ਦੇ ਪਤ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ
ਨਾਲੋਂ ਜਰਾ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਤਿਖੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਫਤਿਹਬਾਦ ਤੋਂ ਛਪਦੇ ਇਕ ਅਖਬਾਰ ਲੇਖਾ ਜੋਖਾ ਦੇ ਦਫਤਰ
ਦੀ ਭੰਨ ਤੋੜ ਤੇ ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਾ ਬਣਾ ਕੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਤ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਬ੍ਰਾਦਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਕ
ਸੁਨੇਹਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਕੁੱਲ ਮਿਲਾ ਕੇ 11 ਪਤ੍ਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਰਾਖੀ ਮਿਲੀ ਹੋਈ
ਹੈ ਤੇ ਰਾਜਨੀਤਕ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਪਤ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਯੂਨੀਅਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਨਾਂ ਕਾਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਦੀ
ਜੋਰਦਾਰ ਖੰਡਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।
ਡੇਰਾ ਸੱਚਾ ਸੌਦਾ ਬਲੋਚਿਸਤਾਨ ਦਾ ਬਾਨੀ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਸੁਲਤਾਨ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਰੂਹਾਨੀਅਤ ਦੀ ਜਗਿਆਸਾ ਤੇ
ਗਿਆਨ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਬਾਕੀ ਦੇ ਧਰਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਅਸਹਿਮਤ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ 'ਚ ਇਸ
ਦੇ ਸਿਧਾਂਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਖੁੱਲਾਪਣ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਵੱਲ ਖਿੱਚੇ ਆਏ। ਉਪਰੰਤ ਉਨਾਂ
ਦੇ ਜਾਨਸ਼ੀਨ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਸਤਨਾਮ ਨੇ ਓਹੋ ਭਲੇ ਕੰਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਇਸ
ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਾਖਾਵਾਂ ਖੁੱਲ ਗਈਆਂ। ਪਰ 1992 ਤੋਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮੁੱਖੀ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਡੇਰੇ
ਨੇ ਜਮੀਨਾਂ ਖਰੀਦਣੀਆਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਧੱਕੇ ਨਾਲ। ਡੇਰੇ ਦਾ ਇਕ
ਸਿਧਾਂਤ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਨਾਂ ਦਾਨ ਲੈਣਾ ਤੇ ਨਾਂ ਦੇਣਾ।
ਅੱਜ ਡੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ 700 ਏਕੜ ਜਮੀਨ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਸਿਰਸੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਤਕ ਡੇਰਾ ਫੈਲ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ
ਦੇ ਬੁਲਾਰੇ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਡੇਰੇ ਦਾ ਆਮਦਨ ਸ੍ਰੋਤ ਖੇਤੀਬਾੜੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਉਹ ਪੈਟਰੋਲ
ਪੰਪ ਜਾਂ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਸੁਪਰ ਮਾਰਕੀਟ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਚੱਕਰ ਕੱਟਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਰੈਸਟੋਰੈਂਟ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ
ਜਾਇਦਾਦਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਕਦੀ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸਦੇ, ਨਾ ਹੀ ਬਿਸਕੁਟ ਫੈਕਟਰੀ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਬਰਫ ਦੇ
ਕਾਰਖਾਨੇ ਆਦਿ ਦੀ ਮਲਕੀਅਤ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਿਕਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਪਤਾ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਖੋਜ
ਬੀਨ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਲਗ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
ਡੇਰੇ ਦਾ ਬੁਲਾਰਾ ਡਾ: ਅਦਿਯ ਅਰੋੜਾ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਹੈ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਸਕੂਲ
ਬਾਰੇ ਦਸਦਾ ਹੈ ਗੰਗਾ ਨਗਰ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ 'ਚ 175 ਬਿਸਤਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ
ਹੈ। ਯਾਦ ਰਹੇ ਕਿ ਗੰਗਾ ਨਗਰ ਹੀ ਗੁਰਮੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਸਥਾਨ ਹੈ।
11 ਪ੍ਰਾਤਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੀਆਂ 36 ਸ਼ਾਖਾਵਾਂ ਹਨ: ਹਰਿਆਣਾ ਰਾਜਸਥਾਨ, ਗੁਜਰਾਤ, ਪੰਜਾਬ,
ਛੱਤੀਸਗੜ੍ਹ, ਮੱਧ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼। ਸੀ ਆਰ ਕੇ ਸੋਨੀ ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੇਵਾਦਾਰ ਸਾਨੂੰ
ਦਸਦੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਡੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੋਈ 400 ਸਾਧੂ ਤੇ 100 ਸਾਧਣੀਆਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਆਪੇ
ਹੀ ਡੇਰੇ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਸੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਜੱਜ ਨੇ ਤਫਤੀਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਉਹ ਡੇਰੇ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਸਬੰਧਤ
ਮੋਹਤਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਲਜਾਮ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ
ਕਿਹਾ ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਉਹ ਝੂਠੀਆਂ ਰਿਪੋਰਟਾਂ ਛਾਪਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ। ਮੀਡੀਏ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਜਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀ
ਬਣਦੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਗੁਮਨਾਮ ਚਿੱਠੀ ਤੇ ਅੱਯਾਸ਼ੀ ਦਾ ਅੱਡਾ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਇਲਜਾਮ ਵਿਚ ਫਰਕ ਸਮਝ ਕੇ ਚਲਦੇ।
ਆਖਰਕਾਰ ਇਸ ਵਿਚ ਸਵਾ ਕਰੋੜ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਮਸਲਾ ਹੈ।
ਸੋਨੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸੀ ਡੀ ਸੁਰੇਸ਼ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੂੰ ਅਸਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ
ਵਰਜਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਪਰ ਕੁਝ ਫਰਕ ਨਾਂ ਪਿਆ। ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਹਾਂ ਸਚਮੁੱਚ ਇਨਾਂ ਨੇ
ਛੱਤਰਪਤੀ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ 'ਚ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੁਝ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਇਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਾੜਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਕਿਤੇ
ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ 'ਚ ਨਾ ਲੈ ਲਿਓ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਮੀਨ ਹੜੱਪਣ, ਨਸ਼ੇ
ਵੇਚਣ, ਤੇ ਟੈਕਸ ਦੀ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਆਦਿ ਦੀਆਂ ਸ਼ਕਾਇਤਾਂ ਡੇਰੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
ਡਾ: ਅਰੋੜਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਡੇਰੇ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਭਲਾਈ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਵੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਹੈਨ ਪਰ
ਮੀਡੀਏ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਨਜਰ ਅੰਦਾਜ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ''ਅਸੀਂ ਕੋਈ ਦਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਂਦੇ, ਅਸੀਂ ਸ਼ਰਾਬ ਦੇ
ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਹੋ ਸਕਦੈ ਸਾਥੋ ਠੇਕੇ ਵਾਲੇ ਔਖੇ
ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹੋਣ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਸਗੰਠਿਤ ਧਰਮ। ਸਾਡੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਨੇ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ, ਉੜੀਸਾ ਤੇ ਸਿਰਸਾ ਵਿਖੇ
ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਕਰੋਪੀਆਂ ਮੌਕੇ ਸੇਵਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ।'' ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਬਦਨਾਮੀ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ''ਡਾਕਟਰ

Dear Mr Advani
The International Federation of Journalists, the global organisation of
journalists, representing over 500,000 journalists worldwide, is deeply
concerned over the death of Mr Ram Chander Chaterpatti, editor of a local
evening paper, Poora Sach, on 21 November 2002.
According to our information, Chaterpatti was shot by two unidentified
persons on October 24 outside his home in Sirsa. He died four weeks later
after receiving treatment in the Apollo Hospital in Delhi.
It is understood that Chaterpatti was targeted by the religious body,
"Dera Sacha Sauda", following his reports of alleged irregularities and
sex scandal within its premises. It is also understood that he had
received several threats from the group in recent times.
The murder of Chaterpatti adds to the considerable pressure that
journalists from Sirsa face from the Dera Sacha Sauda sect.
The death of Chaterpatti follows the murder of television journalist,
Yambem Meghajit Singh on 13 October 2002 in Imphal.
We are extremely concerned that such violence and intimidation of
journalists seems to have become all too common in India in recent times.
Murder and violent attacks on journalists are one of the worst forms of
attack on press freedom and civil society. There is no more serious form
of censorship than violence.

Chander Chaterpatti and to bring his killers to justice. We ask that you

Dera followers hold protest

As a part of its district-wise stir, more than 10,000
followers of the Sacha Sauda sect took out a protest
through the main streets of the town today to register
their resentment against the Punjab and Central
governments for failing to “check the unlawful
activities of the CBI which had been implicating
senior members and sadhvis of the mission in false
cases”.
The protesters also held a rally in front of the Mini
Secretariat in this connection.
Addressing the agitators, Mr Ajit Singh and Mr Balkar
Singh, members of the Punjab affairs of the mission,
while assailing the alleged indifferent attitude of
two investigating senior officers of the agency
towards the sect in handling the matter, also accused
CBI officers of “ terrorising” a number of sadhvis and
sadhus of the sect after failing to arrive at truth
regarding the cases of alleged sexual exploitation of
women in the dera and the murders of journalist Ram
Chander Chhattarpati and dera follower Rajmeet Singh.
The committee members demanded that democratic
measures be initiated to resolve such sensitive issues
and to protect the interests of those missions which
preached for communal harmony and national
integration.
They made it clear that if the government failed to
check such type of activities, the dera followers
would intensify their stir. Later talking to
mediapersons, the committee members said that a
meeting of the 125-member would be held shortly at
Sirsa to decide the future course of action.
Journalist's
murder: judgement on bail plea reserved

The Punjab and Haryana High Court today reserved judgement on the bail
plea of Inder Sain and Avtar Singh, the two accused in the murder of a
journalist in Sirsa.
The two accused, the disciples of Dera
Sacha Sauda in Sirsa town, were allegedly involved in the murder of
journalist Ram Chander Chhatrapati and another person, Ranjit Singh of
Kurukshetra.
They were earlier granted interim
anticipatory bail some time back by the High Court and have now prayed for
its confirmation.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI),
which has been entrusted with the probe into these murders, had opposed
the grant of interim bail and insisted on the custodial interrogation of
the two to uncover the conspiracy as per the mandamus with in the High
Court.
Responding to the questions from the bench,
the CBI counsel Rajan Gupta clarified that the weapon used in the murder
of Chhatrapati belonged to the persons from the Dera and it had also been
confirmed from the forensic report on the bullets fired.
The words `Dera Sacha Sauda‘ were also
found to be inscribed on the walkie talkie recovered from the accused and
the instruments were detected to be licenced in the name ofthe Dera, the
CBI counsel further said.
When Justice Rajive Bhalla inquired if
there was evidence against the Dera chief, then why the CBI had not
arrested him so far, the counsel submitted that the probe was still in
progress.
However, the CBI counsel reiterated that
the two accused Inder Sain and Avtar Singh had given 90 per cent deceptive
responses as confirmed by the polygraph tests too.
He reiterated that the custodial
interrogation of the accused and dismissal of the bail plea was more than
warranted in the interest of the investigation.
The counsel for the petitioners alleged
that the CBI personnel were harassing the Dera persons in the context of
the investigation, Rajan Gupta said it was the other way round as Dera
management through its followers were creating hurdles in the
investigation by organising protests, dharnas etc. and calling for an end
to the probe.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court today dismissed the plea by the manager
of the Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda and a dera follower for grant of
anticipatory bail in the cases relating to murder of Sirsa-based
journalist Ram Chander Chhatrapati and a Kurukshetra resident.
Rejecting the pleas of manager Inder Sain
and his associate, Avtar Singh, Mr Justice Rajive Bhalla concurred with
the stand of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) counsel, Mr Rajan
Gupta, that custodial interrogation of the two accused was crucial to
uncover the conspiracy behind these murders. Mr Justice Bhalla had
reserved his verdict in the case sometime back.
The court also dismissed another
application filed by the accused, seeking restrain on the CBI to continue
with the probe as it had not been granted extension in the probe period.
However, the CBI counsel told the Bench
that the agency was continuing the probe as there were no court orders
against the same. He alleged that the application of the accused was only
aimed at creating hurdles in the probe, adding that the custodial
interrogation of Inder Sain and Avtar Singh was important to carry the
investigations to their logical conclusion.
The CBI has been investigating the
murders and alleged sexual harassment of female inmates of the dera
following the orders issued on November 10, 2003, by the High Court.
Among others, Kishan Lal, another manager
of the dera, has been arrested in connection with the crimes, while the
CBI had been keen to arrest Inder Sain and Avtar Singh for custodial
interrogation to probe their roles as also the alleged role of the dera
chief Baba Gurmit Ram Rahim Singh in the conspiracy.
Meanwhile, the Division Bench headed by
Mr Justice Amar Dutt, which is to decide the CBI's prayer for extension of
the probe period by another three months, adjourned the hearing to
February 10.
Sometime back, the CBI had submitted its
status report on the investigations into the alleged involvement of the
management of the dera in the murders.
